Acceptance & eligibility

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of KeepHive on Android, iOS, and the web. By creating an account or using KeepHive, you agree to these Terms. You must be 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live) to use KeepHive.

The service

KeepHive helps you keep a record of the things you own and their important dates, scan receipts, store documents, and get reminders. KeepHive is a helpful tool — it is not professional, legal, financial, tax, or insurance advice, and reminders are provided on a best-effort basis. You remain responsible for your own deadlines and decisions.

Your account

Keep your login credentials secure and the information you enter accurate. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us at hello@keephive.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

Subscriptions & billing

• KeepHive offers a Free tier and paid Premium and Family plans. On mobile, subscriptions are billed through Google Play (or the App Store on iOS); on the web, through Stripe.
• Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. Cancel any time in your Google Play (or App Store) subscription settings, or from the web billing page — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
• Payment is charged to your store or payment account at confirmation of purchase. Refunds are handled under the policy of the store or processor you purchased through (Google Play, the App Store, or Stripe).
• Prices may vary by region and may change; we'll give notice of changes as required, and price changes never apply retroactively to a period you've already paid for.
• The Family plan extends Premium to the members of one household (up to 6 people). The account holder manages the subscription.

Your content & ownership

You own the content you add to KeepHive. You grant us a limited licence to store and process it solely to provide the service to you (for example, to sync it, scan receipts, and send reminders). We never sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it to train AI models.

If you cancel a paid plan, your records stay readable and exportable — we never hold your data hostage.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload unlawful content or use KeepHive for any unlawful purpose.
• Abuse, disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service.
• Reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the service except as the law allows.

Availability & changes to the service

We work to keep KeepHive available and may add, change, or remove features over time. Offline access relies on data cached on your device and is provided on a best-effort basis. We may suspend or limit the service for maintenance, security, or policy violations.

Disclaimers

KeepHive is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reminders will always be delivered on time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KeepHive and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Termination

You can stop using KeepHive and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You can export your data before deleting your account.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We'll revise the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Gujarat, India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be handled in the courts located in Gujarat, India.
